Governance

ACHIEVA Family Trust is a charitable, tax exempt organization that exists to serve individuals with disabilities and their families.

It is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of dedicated volunteers, primarily from the legal, nonprofit and financial services community.

Since its founding in 1998, the Board has always benefited from the inclusion of family members of individuals with disabilities.

 

Chair - Jennifer C. Johnson, Esq.

Jennifer serves as Chair on the ACHIEVA Family Trust Board, as well as a trustee on the ACHIEVA Board of Trustees. She is an attorney at Bernstein-Burkley PC. She is a member of the corporate, employment, estates and trusts, real estate and taxation groups. 

She received her J.D. from Duquesne University and a B.S. Business Administration major in technology from California State University San Marcos. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association – Elder Law and Taxation Sections, the PA Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the faculty at Robert Morris University Master’s of Taxation Program, Federal Estate and Gift Taxes and Estate Planning.
