2021 Update from Amy Dolan Strano, President, Achieva Family Trust:

Since the beginning of the global pandemic in March of 2020, Achieva Family Trust has continued to operate as close to normal as possible. This was very important to us because we always strive to meet the needs of our trust beneficiaries, their families, and the professionals with whom we work. During this time we have continued to open many new trusts to assist people with disabilities with maintaining (or obtaining) vital government benefits through our Benefits Counseling Program.

Our offices are open, but we continue to follow the CDC’s recommendations about hand washing, social distancing and wearing masks or face coverings. We have resumed in person meetings consistent with all applicable safety measures and the comfort level of all involved. We look forward to the day when we can once again host in person events, like our popular Speaker Series. For now we continue with a virtual only option for our large events and webinars.

While we are moving forward with more staff returning to the office as necessary, it is important that we remain vigilant, particularly as new variants of the virus make their way into our world. Please trust that the same attention that we have given this past year to overall health and safety will continue.

Some Family Trust staff are still working remotely, but are available during normal business hours for phone and email questions, consultations and to facilitate trust disbursement requests. We encourage you to reach out to your assigned Trust Administrator or to us in general at 412.995.5000 ext. 565 or toll free at 1.888.272.7229. You can also contact us via email at familytrust@achieva.info or visit our website at AchievaFamilyTrust.org. We hope you all stay safe and well during this time.
